Black is the new Black

If fashion is your way to express your inner self, if fashion the mirror of your emotions you may understand why I can't always give the same image to the world. Ones personality is complex, a mix of your past, your dreams, your aspirations, etc ...

I tried my best to fit the country of kawaiiness i'm living in now, to be honest it's an easy game for me and my baby face. Don't be jealous, being cute is maybe the easiest state for me but that's not who I am. I don't feel like a cute person at all, neither as a "pretty people". 

Since I'm a European in Japan, I'm fitting the beauty standards ... but that's just not me. 

I want to feel sexy, fierce and strong. Not a weak defenseless dolly. 

Anyway, as I told you I've tried a more colorful/ pretty girl look. I just didn't feel right so I'm back to my good old sens of aesthetic. 

Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying I'm a hardcore gothic or a suicide girl wannabe.

My world is just made of this melancholic gloomy atmosphere, and if I love black clothing it's probably only because I love contrast. 

With black you are focus on the shape, the balance of the coordination and your face is shining. Colors is distracting you from the essential, colors is the best way of hiding your lack of confidence. Black is just easy, honest and pure. 

(lets be honest you also look skinnier and prettier in black) 

Since a few months I'm also totally obsessed with Lana del Rey, I just love her deadly glamourous retro

style. It's sexual, sensual, like a hot summer night. 

I went back to my love for pinup style also, and I discovered new ways of reinventing my style. I'm not a blond baby doll anymore and I want to embrace that "sexy witch" style as my friend Mini says.

Autumn Rock LOOKBOOK

Hello ! 

Today article will be a first try of a Lookbook post.

 The idea is to show you few coordinations for Autumn and Winter season.

Get ready with me to Touch Me after party

Hi there!

I feel so bad not having writing a thing since ages ... I am guilty, I am lazy, I had shitty days recently and didn't have done such exciting things. So hum yeah ... I suck at keeping a blog alive. sorry guys.

Last week I did something with my life and went to the very exiting: Touch me after party. 

In order to do something different here is a Get ready with me article.

The Final result

Step 1: the fabulous hair

Knowing that I would go to an intense party journey this weekend I went to the hairdresser Tuesday night (yes night o_o amazing tokyo life) with my friend Kitty.

I was not so confident on my appearance and my hair was especially horrible recently. A SHAME. multi colored damaged blond with no shape.

For the first time I went to "Viva cute candy" at Shimokitazawa, they are specialized in cute/crazy design and amazing rainbow hair color. The place was really cute almost like if I sneaked in the bedroom of a 90's cute little girl.

So we chat a lot while doing my hair, and I came back home with amazing silver hair.

This shop is getting really popular among foreigners too and i totally can understand why.

2: Healthy snack and a good TV program

When I'm getting ready for a big event, I'm always trying to start early so I won't make any time-stressed mistakes. Girls, you know what I mean : eyeliner on the cheek, forgetting to put mascara on, brushing your teeth and ruining your fondation,  ripping your thighs, forget deodorant, and so on...

To get things done right you need time and organization. 

So between two steps, I can't help it, I have to nomnomnom something. 

Since I am sick, it was not beer and pasta but something healthier...

Try to choose food that you can easily eat in case you're doing highly manual (o_o is it english? ) at the same time, like curling hair or painting nails. 

I love watching TV while doing my hair and make up. 

Sometimes it takes so long to curl or straighten my hair, I have to keep my mind entertains or I'm bored as hell.

The most stupid, the better it is. 

Step 3: The Fresh Dolly face

Take a warm shower, scrub, mask, moisturize. 

Usual crap that you are doing but the important thing is to start with a fresh face.

If you already have make-up on, clean it off. 

it's better to not re-apply makeup, your skin will not appreciate. 

Party = pictures

perfect skin is a must have!

Step 4: The makeup

You want a perfect make up so don't rush

you must think wisely while doing party makeup :

- it has to stay long

- you have to look good on pictures (with a flash) 

- match your outfit and the theme of the party (if there is one)

- look amazing even from faaar away

a party makeup is heavy but properly done and has to be flattering. 

For me, it means.

a mat fondation, good contouring (heavy nose contouring for pictures), biiig eyes and fuller lips. 

aannd that's it, for the clothes follow your inspiration but always try to innovate and do bigger and bigger every time you go out. 

Let's not be bored by our own style!

TOKYO FASHION NIGHT OUT 2013

  

Hi there ! 

It's been a while 

Using Starbucks' wifi now and still don't have internet at home or on my phone. I feel like I'm living in the middle age and I don't even remember how i used to spend my free time before internet. 

Anyway, back to the subject ... I was really excited by my first fashion night out (september 7th) ,
and thanks to Vanessa I also had the chance of going to the event with MTV crew. 

It was an amazing experience and spend a wonderful day with my girl Vanessa and MTV crew. 

We made a shooting for MTV81 where they follow us around the fashion night out events.

So at first we went to the press room where all the sponsors and the FNO ambassadors  presented the event.
I was very impressed for sure but I'm always strong when I'm with her ^_-

So, after we went to the opening ceremony at the Omotesando Hills and quickly moved to my beloved Laforet Harajuku.

We presented the shop where we use to shop or like to go. 

There were various little party inside the shop so it was really fun to check all of them.

 We also went at Cannabis were they nicely offered us Beer and food. un apéritif quoi!

Really love the selection of this shop, actually that's where i bought that dress.
